This grower is sure of this plant identification.
A small, deep-blue glazed ceramic bowl, 4.5in diameter, planted with 5 lovely, young succulent plants. Four of these are endemic species of South Africa: Delosperma lehmanii, Haworthia cuspidata, Pleiospilos nelii and Haworthia tuberculosa. The fifth plant, Echeveria agavoides, is a native of Mexico. None of these plants are challenging to look after and should thrive as houseplants provided they are keep in good light and a suitable watering regime is used.
Echeveria agavoides. A clumped succulent from Mexico with pale green leaves and cymes of yellow tipped red flowers in mid spring.
They are frost tender, min 5-7C, and will need a sunny position with good ventilation and very well drained soil.
Grown for their long-lasting flowers.
