Nodding onion, Lady's leek, Wild onion

Allium cernuum (Nodding onion). This perennial species has dark green strap-shaped leaves, and the flowers are borne in umbels of pink-blue blooms in the summer.

Grow in fertile, well-drained soil with full sun. The bulbs should be planted in the autumn and they will prefer to be grown in hot dry areas in a sandy loam-based potting compost.
