This grower is sure of this plant identification.
I love this plant early in the year, the marbled leaves are exquisite. Again, I grow it for the leaves and not the flowers although the red berries later in the year are bright and attractive. The shield shaped leaves are much sought after by flower arrangers.
Italian arum, Lords and ladies
Arum italicum ‘Pictum’ (Italian arum). A tuber which flowers in late spring. In autumn, semi-erect leaves with cream-white veins are borne, followed by pale green or cream-white spathes, then red berries in autumn.
