Chamaecyparis thyoides ‘Rubicon’ (White cypress). This variety has bronze-green leaves and burgundy in winter.
They are tolerant of chalky soils but grow best in moist but well drained neutral to slightly acid soil. If the conifer produces more than one leader, to maintain the general conical habit remove all but one leader. To restrict the height of the plant, the leader can be cut back.
