Common names

Corn chamomile, Mayweed, Scentless chamomile, Field chamomile


Anthemis arvensis (Corn chamomile). Wild flower plant with a mass of daisy-like white flowers with yellow centres from late May to September. The leaves, when crushed, give off a mild, pleasant aroma.


Fully to frost hardy. Prefers sun and well drained soil. May need staking. Cut to ground level after flowering for good leaf rosettes in winter.
