Origanum ‘Country Cream’ (Marjoram). These are deciduous sub-shrubs and perennials, sometimes with overwintering leaf rosettes. Most of the species have arching, prostrate stems.


They are fully to frost hardy and will prefer full sun with a moderately fertile, well-drained, alkaline soil. Make sure you trim the excess growth regularly.

Interest and use

Grown as culinary herbs, others for their clusters of tubular, usually pink flowers. Suitable for coastal conditions.
