Description

Prunella vulgaris (Self-heal). This is a creeping mat-forming species and it has hairy, oval to diamond-shaped leaves. It will bear masses of purplish flowers in short cylindrical terminal heads in mid-summer. This plant is often found in the wild in Northern Europe.

Cultivation

They are fully to frost hardy and will grow in sun or partial-shade in moist, well-drained soil.
