Plant Finder: about Scilla litardieri

Common names



Scilla litardieri (Squill). This species will grow to about 25cm in height. There are 3 to 6 thin arching leaves about 30cm long. The flowers are blue, as many as 16 to each head.


They should be planted in the autumn in average garden soil with full sun to light shade. You should divide in late summer when clumps become crowded, or propagate from seed in autumn.
