This Aster was named after my sister Caroline who gave me a seedling of it in 2012. It has bright magenta flowers from late July to early October. Easily propagated by pulling side shoots. Looks lovely with grasses.

Aster genus (Michaelmas daisy). This is a large genus which is native to temperate regions of the northern hemisphere. They are perennials and deciduous or evergreen sub-shrubs of various heights and colours with daisy like flower heads, all with central yellow or black discs borne in the summer and autumn.
They are fully to half hardy and will prefer sun or partial shade with fertile, well drained soil, with adequate moisture throughout the summer. Tall species and cultivars require staking.
Grown for its flowers. Suitable for coastal conditions.
