Digitalis purpurea (Foxglove). This perennial is grown as a hardy biennial, the plants will seeds up to two months before the frost, The blooms will follow in the spring and summer. The purple-pink bell-like flowers are borne in racemes on tall stems, they have purple spots inside the throat. In the mild climates, the foliage is evergreen and will forms large, lush clumps. This plant is often found in the wild in Northern Europe.


Watch out it is poisonous and allergenic.

Under shrubs, borders. Leaves are poisonous if eaten.
