Petasites japonicus ‘ Golden Palms’

For sale by Lewis Cottage Plants

This grower is sure of this plant identification.

Jagged-edged, umbrella shaped leaves are a beautiful bright chartreuse yellow shade, perfect as a foliage accent in a moist to wet border. Bizarre pink drumstick flower spikes appear in very early spring. Plants are inclined to spread underground to form a patch. Works really well in clay soil here at Lewis Cottage and spreads like crazy even under those conditions! Worth having just for the leaf colour alone.
