Suitable for indoor growing. Loves a sunny windowsill and brilliant for catching fruitfly-size pests. Likes being kept damp and moist but only tolerates rainwater. Very, very easy to grow (our first plant has produced 15 offsets in one year - hence this listing!).
Drosera capensis (Cape sundew). This species grows to 30cm tall, with small rosettes of narrow linear leaves covered in sensitive, red, glandular hairs which secrete fluid. In spring many small, pinkish flowers are produced on leafless stems.
Water only with rainwater as it is very sensitive to the impurities found in tapwater.
