Common names

Cape sundew

Drosera capensis (Cape sundew). This species grows to 30cm tall, with small rosettes of narrow linear leaves covered in sensitive, red, glandular hairs which secrete fluid. In spring many small, pinkish flowers are produced on leafless stems.

Water only with rainwater as it is very sensitive to the impurities found in tapwater.
