Rough Tree Fern. Large pale green fronds which appear in batches throughout the year. An unmistakable plant with a ferociously spined trunk. The fronds usually brown with frost but the trunk is hardy down to about -10c. so is as hardy as Dicksonia antarctica. Thrives in part shade and moist soil which does not dry out.
