Neat little succulent plant with pale pink starry flowers. Seed grown plant in 5cm pot
Anacampseros arachnoides. A smaller Anacampseros to 5cm with green, reddish or dark brown, broad, thickened leaves ending in a point. The plant has white, pink or purple showy flowers that only open for a few hours in the afternoon during summer.
The plant spreads outwards to form a mat. They seed profusely and the small, papery, white seeds are distributed by the breeze.
Anacampseros grow well in partial sunlight. Bright light enhances their leaf colour and helps keep them compact. They appreciate gritty free-draining soil with added organic material and low to moderate watering to avoid rot.
