Speedwell
Veronica ‘Goldwell’ (Speedwell). This is a shrubby species with about 200 or so herbaceous evergreen perennials. Some are prostrate, creeping plants. The flowers are small pink, white, or blue and bloom in the summer.
They are fully to frost hardy and will need sun and well drained soil. When you grow Veronicas you must remember to water only in the morning, as this will aid in the prevention of any fungal diseases.
Grown for their usually blue flowers. Suitable for coastal conditions.
