Campanula persicifolia (Peach-leaved bellflower). This perennial will produce medium green lance-shaped leaves and pretty clusters of bell-shaped, delicate flowers with papery petals which will form a bell-shape. The foliage will form a basal rosette.


They are fully to half hardy and are grown in the sun or shade. Most of the species will prefer moist but well drained soil. Delicate flower colours are preserved best in shade.

Interest and use

Border, mixed bed or ground cover. Summer interest.
