These trees were planted in 1989. They are around 1m wide and 2.5m-3.5m high and make wonderful individual specimen trees. The perfect tree for Church avenues. The pot size (right) is only a very rough indication of what would be needed to accommodate the rootball. Prices are by height:

Taxus baccata ‘Fastigiata Aureamarginata’ (Golden Irish yew). This is a slow-growing evergreen conifer which has been a foundation planting in formal gardens for generations. This native tree is often kept clipped and grown as a tall evergreen hedge.


They are fully to frost-hardy and will tolerate a wide range of conditions, which include heavy shade and chalky soils. However, they will grow well in rich soil that is well drained and has full sun exposure. Watch out for the poisonous leaves and seeds. Prune in late summer.
