This grower is sure of this plant identification.
I grow these in the greenhouse, where they are evergreen, and bulk up quite quickly.
On offer are pots containing at least 3 bulbs
Albuca humilis. Also known as Ornithogalum humile, this species of bulbous perennial will produce narrow linear leaves. The flowers appear in the spring to early summer with bell-shaped white blooms with a scent said to resemble marzipan. The tepals have a clear dark green central stripe and they open to reveal three inner tepals which are tipped in bright yellow.
They are half hardy to frost tender with a min of 10C. You will need to give them an open sunny position with well drained soil. It will die down in the spring or late summer after flowering.
Ornamental, rock gardens.
