Snowdrop
Galanthus genus (Snowdrop). This genus has about 19 species of small bulbs. The flowers are small, white and nodding; there is one on each slender stem between two basal leaves. The flowers have three large outer petals and three small inner ones forming a cup, which is green.
They are fully to frost hardy and will need a cool, partial shaded position with humus-rich, moist soil. Do not allow bulbs to dry out excessively. Plant at a depth of approximately 9cm.
Grown for their pendant flowers, one on each slender stem between 2 basal leaves.
