This grower is fairly sure of this plant identification.
I have had this plant in my home for around 6 years. It has a self-watering system and thrives in my living room which has large South Facing windows. This plant is pick up only. I live in Islington, North London, not far from Caledonian Road, King's Cross, Camden and Kentish Town.
Kentia palm, Paradise palm, Thatch leaf palm
Howea forsteriana (Kentia palm). This plant will produce spikes of greenish-brown flowers in winter time. If this species is grown outdoors in warm climates it is rather slow growing, possibly to about about 9m with a slender trunk.
An indoor plant which is also suitable for a Terraria.
