Comfrey 'Bocking 14', also known as Russian Comfrey, is a sterile hybrid so that it won't self seed all over the garden and only grows from propagated root cuttings. It contains high levels of basic nutrients and rare minerals and makes a perfect green manure. With roots up to 2 metres in length, it can reach and assimilate elements from depth inaccessible to other plants.
