Beschorneria yuccoides. Reminiscent of some of the stemless yuccas, this spectacular lily-like plant can spread into a broad clump of evergreen foliage. The 60cm long, grey-green leaves are broad and soft. In spring fleshy, pink arching flowering stems appear with pendent, bright green flowers and bright pink bracts. First discovered in the southernmost Mexican State of Chiapas, Beschorneria chiapensis is similar to B. yuccoides but has red bracts and flowers.
Grow in standard cactus compost in full light under glass.
