Symphytum officinale (Common comfrey). This species will produce large leaves that may be evergreen. It is a robust, clump-forming species with lance-shaped leaves, and flowers borne in clusters of white or pink blooms. This plant is often found in the wild in Northern Europe.


They can be easily grown in sun or partial-shade in moist, well-dug soil with added manure.
