Description

Phygelius aequalis ‘Yellow Trumpet’ (Cape cowslip). This evergreen, upright, sub-shrub has tubular, pale cream-yellow flowers produced in clusters in mid summer to early autumn.

Cultivation

They will need sun and fertile, well drained but not too dry soil. Usually loses leaves or has shoots cut to ground by frosts. Cut back to just above ground level in spring or if plants have woody bases, prune to live wood.
