Common names



Achillea ‘Summer Wine’ (Yarrow). An upright hybrid with linear, pinnatifid, dark green leaves. In mid and late summer, dark red flowerheads with white disc-florets, are produced in corymbs. They fade to beige-pink as they mature.


They are fully hardy and will tolerate most soils but grow well in a sunny, well drained soil. The taller species and cultivars will need staking. Tall species and cultivars need staking.
