Sedum genus (Stonecrop). This genus contains about 400 species of succulent annuals, biennials, perennials, subshrubs and shrubs, which are carpet forming to upright. Lush whole leaves are produced and are tubular, lanceolate, egg-shaped or elliptical. The flowers are 5-petalled and appear in terminal sprays.
They will range from frost tender to fully frost hardy. They prefer to grow in fertile, porous soil, but can grow in most soil types. They will need full sun.
Suitable for rock gardens and borders. Foliage attracts bees and butterflies. Suitable for coastal conditions.
