Description

Itea genus. There are about 10 species of these evergreen and deciduous shrubs and trees. They are grown for their showy fragrant autumn flowers and prickly holly-like leaves. They are frost hardy and will need sun or semi-shade with fertile, well drained but not too dry soil.
