Description

Ixia genus (African corn lily). This genus has about 40-50 species. They will produce masses of delightful, star-shaped flowers on wiry stems in the spring and early summer. The leaves are usually long and slender. They are half hardy and will grow in an open, sunny situation in well drained soil. Plant in the autumn for spring and early summer flowers, plant in the spring for a late summer display.
