Jancaea genus. This genus consists of one species of evergreen, rosette perennial, which is grown for its flowers and silver-green leaves. It is frost hardy and quite difficult to grow, as it will need shade from the mid-day sun in high summer. Give it humus-rich gritty, moist alkaline soil. Propagation is by seed in the spring or by leaf cuttings in mid-summer.
