Description

Lavatera trimestris (Annual mallow). These are hardy annuals, producing profuse, large, trumpet-shaped flowers which are deep pink, borne on tall hairy stems in early summer to late summer. The leaves are mid green, decorative and maple-shaped. You should sow the seeds outdoors in early spring or autumn in well drained, humus-rich soil.
