Description

Amelanchier laevis ‘Snowflakes’ (Juneberry). This is a small, upright tree, growing to 8 metres in height. The young leaves emerge coppery orange, turning a mid green in the summer, and then to shades of red and orange in the autumn. The white, star-shaped flowers are relatively large, and contrast with the new foliage in April. Red berries appear in the autumn.
