Description

Amelanchier alnifolia (Saskatoon). This species is a deciduous shrub or small tree. The leaves are elliptical-oval, medium green and are arranged alternately. The flowers are borne in terminal racemes of cream-white blooms in the early summer. It will grow to a height of 4m.

Also known as Aronia alnifolia.
