Description

Leycesteria formosa (Himalayan honeysuckle). This is a deciduous shrub from the Himalayas, producing blue-green shoots and oval, dark green leaves. In mid summer and early autumn, there are funnel-shaped, purple and white flowers. Purple-black berries are borne.
