Ammi majus (Bishop's flower). This is a half-hardy annual which is self-sowing. The flower heads are produced in clusters; they create an elegant effect in the garden border. Bishop's Flower is easily established from seed and is not too fussy about soil conditions. It does require full sun, however. These blooms are used extensively in the cut flower industry. Ammi majus will become drought-tolerant once established.
