Lilium ‘Compass’ (Lily). Produces an upward-facing trumpet shaped flower in a rich orange yellow.

Needs

Cultivation

They will need good drainage. Some prefer alkaline soil, others will not tolerate it. They all prefer the sun, but make sure the roots are deep to keep them cool.

Propagation

Seed in autumn or spring, by bulb scales in summer or by stem bulbs (where present) in autumn.

Viruses, fungal diseases, leather jackets and lily beetle may cause problems.
