Description

Maianthemum genus (May lily). This genus has 3 rhizomatous perennials, they consists of a small number of heart-shaped leaves on each wiry stem. The stems produce spikes of small white starry flowers at their tips. Small red berries will follow the flowers and can be the showiest feature. They are Fully hardy and will prefer shade and humus-rich, moist, sandy, neutral to acidic soil. You can propagate by seeds in the autumn.
