Milium genus (Millet grass). A genus comprising of about 6 species of annuals or perennial grasses native to Europe, Asia and eastern North America. They are grown for their ornamental flowers and foliage. The leaves are alternate long, and narrow, The flowers are bisexual with males and females in the same spikelet.
