Description

Moraea huttonii. A cormous perennial with a single, semi-erect, narrowly linear leaf to 1m. Scented golden yellow flowers to 8cm from spring. From South Africa.

Cultivation

The bulbs should be planted in full sun, They like a fairly rich soil and good drainage which is essential. They need plenty of water during growth but must be kept dry when dormant. You can propagate from offsets or from seed.
