Description

Muehlenbeckia genus. This genus consists of tiny alpine mat-forming plants, some species are vigorous vines with masses of dark stems and minimal small bronze-tinged leaves. They are frost hardy and will grow in sun or shade in well drained soil. Propagation is by semi-ripe cuttings in the summer.

Grown for their foliage.

Cultivation

They prefer full sun with a little midday shade with moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil. You can propagate from seed or summer cuttings or pre- rooted layers.
