Anopterus genus (Tasmanian laurel). This is a genus of two species of evergreen shrubs or small trees with leaves which are long and spatula-shaped. White to pink flowers are produced in terminal sprays.
The genus name comes from the Greek words 'ano' meaning 'upwards' and 'pteron' meaning ' and refers to the wings on the seeds, which face upwards.
