Notospartium genus (Pink broom). This genus consists of about 3 species of broom-like shrubs, they produce profuse pea-shaped flowers that appear in mid-summer. The shrubs are leafless and will attain their shape from there graceful arching branches. They are frost hardy, but in cold areas grow on south or west facing wall. Grow in a sheltered, sunny position with well drained soil. Propagation is by semi-ripe cuttings in the summer or by seed in autumn.
