Anthurium genus (Flamingo flower). These are evergreen upright climbing or trailing perennials, many of which are epiphytic with about 800 species. The flowers produced are beautiful red spathes which grow above broad green leaves.

Frost tender, min 15C. Prefers bright light in winter and indirect sun in summer; needs a fairly moist atmosphere and moist, but not waterlogged, peaty soil.
