Description

Olea genus (Olive tree). There are about 20 species in this genus, they are all long-lived, evergreen trees from Africa, Asia and Australasia. They will produce leathery, narrow to broad leaves with tiny off-white flowers that are followed by the fruit. They are frost to half hardy, in cold areas give protection. Grow in full sun with deep, fertile, very well drained soil.

Cultivation
