Ononis genus (Rest harrow). These are summer-flowering annuals, perennials and deciduous or semi-evergreen shrubs and sub-shrubs. They are grown for their pea-like flowers. They are fully hardy and will need a sunny position in well drained soil. You can propagate by seeds in the autumn or spring.
