Description

Ononis pusilla. This species is a medium growing wildflower which is rather hairy, the leaves are tri-pinnate with broad leaflets. The flowers are borne in branched flowering spikes with yellow-purple veined red blooms from May until August, short pods will follow. It can be found in dry open areas.
