Description

Onosma genus (Donkey plant). There are about 40 species of semi-evergreen biennials, perennials and subshrubs, they will produce pendent, tubular flowers. They will produce densely tufted leaves with prickly hairs. They are fully to frost hardy and will require full sun with well drained soil. Propagation is by softwood cuttings in the summer or by seed in the autumn.
