Description

Ophiopogon genus (Lilyturf). This genus consists of about 50 species of evergreen perennials. They are valued for their attractive, long-lived clumps of grass-like foliage. The flowers are small white or blue through to purple they will appear in the summer. The fruits are berry-like fruits and each contains a seed. They are fully to half hardy and will grow in sun or partial shade in fertile, well drained soil. Propagation is by division in spring or by seeds in the autumn.
