Description

Papaver orientale (Oriental poppy). This species will produce crinkly, glossy petals which have a silky sheen. The flower size can be immense and some blossoms will grow about 6-8in, they bloom in various shades of pink, red, orange, white. The foliage is deeply cut and will dies back in the summer, The soil should be rich and kept moist during the growing season.
