Parrotiopsis genus. This genus consists of one species of deciduous tree or shrub, which is grown for its ornamental dense flower heads which are surrounded by conspicuous bracts. They are fully hardy and will need sun or semi-shade. Grows in any fertile, well drained soil except very shallow soil. You can propagate by softwood cuttings in summer or by seed in the autumn.
