Aralia genus (Spikenard). This is a genus of aroun 68 species of deciduous trees, shrubs and perennials. They have prickly stems and the leaves consist of many leaflets. The cream, white ir greenish flowers are held in dense terminal panicles. These plants produce berries which are popular with birds.
